AGS Announces New Business Wins
August, 2007

2007 has been a big year for AGS in the area of new business. Over the course of the last several months, AGS has won 4 new stamping programs and 2 new bumper programs. Product launches for these programs will occur from 2008 through 2011, which will keep AGS program managers, our engineering team and all of AGS's manufacturing facilities very busy.

AGS is very excited to be one of the suppliers chosen to manufacture parts for the redesigned Camaro, which will be assembled in GM Oshawa and which is expected to be a very popular vehicle among “muscle car” fans. The Camaro is scheduled to make its comeback in 2009.

AGS has also been chosen to supply the front bumper assembly for the refreshed Heavy Duty Silverado, expected to launch in 2010. This will involve the AGS engineering team working closely in collaboration with GM Engineering to design the new front bumper assembly for this pick up truck. This is a big win for AGS and continues AGS’s long tradition of involvement with the Heavy Duty version of the Silverado.

AGS will also be providing the rear bumper for the Hummer H3T, Hummer’s sport utility truck, launching next year. This bumper is an unusual design and AGS was singled out to manufacture this bumper due to its expertise in bumper design and manufacturing and its strength in program launches. The H3T will be assembled at GM’s assembly plant in Shreveport, Louisiana and AGS’s Shreveport facility will sequence and assemble this bumper into that plant.

AGS has also won the bidding for parts on the Chevy Cobalt\ Pontiac Pursuit, the Chevy HHR, the Buick LaCrosse, the Buick Allure, the Saturn Aura, and the Lambda platform (which includes the Chevrolet midsize CUV).
