| Assembly operations are performed across each of our
locations, in our commitment to provide value-added service to our
customers. With trends towards modularity and “one-stop-shopping”
automotive manufacturers are looking for end-to-end supplier capability,
which AGS Automotive Systems, through its breadth of logistical capabilities,
is able to provide seamlessly to our customers. |

Sequencing
| Sequencing operations are performed in our
Shreveport facility, set up specifically to service GM’s
Colorado/Canyon, and H3 line. This facility is set up specifically to offer first rate sequencing
capability, with trucks leaving our bays every 4 minutes. This sub-assembly
site is set up in close proximity to our customer's assembly plant so as
to provide sequential delivery of colour co-ordinated
assemblies, just in time delivery and inventory management control. |

Value Added Engineering
|
We have fully integrated capabilities to engineer and manufacture modular body/chassis systems and
components. AGS' value added engineering provides cost savings, part complexity reduction, system
performance improvements, reduced production tooling, manufacturing driven designs and upfront
engineering services. To this end, AGS provides:
- CAD network with design capability in CGS, UG, PDGS, CATIA and IDEAS
- Continuous Improvement and value engineering programs
- AQP for new programs
- Prototype hardware for future concepts
- CAE development, including static and dynamic FEA modeling and analysis
- Stamping formability studies
