Sterling Heights Mayor

Sterling Heights Expansion

On June 21, 2018, the Mayor of Sterling Heights, MI, the Honorable Michael Taylor, and members of the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce joined several senior executives of AGS Automotive Systems in a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of an expansion to AGS’s Sterling South chrome plating facility. The expanded facility will house new equipment and a state of the art laboratory. AGS expects the expanded facility to create at least 50 new jobs which will support new programs AGS is in the process of launching. The expansion was supported by a performance-based grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corp. as well as a property tax abatement from the City of Sterling Heights.
